A plain-language account of who owns what on this site, what we will and will not host, and how a rights holder can reach a human quickly.

- A person or organisation that owns or controls rights in a creative work - including composers, lyricists, performers, publishers and labels - or who holds personality, voice or likeness rights.
Ownership at a glance
Educational text, presets and diagrams
All library copy, the 24 style presets, the prompt-anatomy template and the accompanying explanations are original works written for this site. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link. Do not republish presets or pages wholesale.
Prompts you write
Text you type into the studio, artwork tools or prompt library is yours. We do not claim ownership of it, and we do not sell it. Prompt text is passed to the AI provider needed to fulfil the request and is otherwise kept only in your browser.
Audio and artwork you generate
Rights in generated output are governed by the terms of the AI provider that produced it, and by the law of your jurisdiction, which in several countries limits copyright in purely machine-generated material. Read your provider's terms before commercial release.
Saved sessions, favourites and collections
These are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. We do not hold a server-side copy, and clearing site data deletes them permanently.
The SonicSenses name, logo and visual design
Site branding, layout and design system may not be reused without written permission.
How we avoid infringing material
Our approach is preventative rather than reactive. Every preset is written from objective musical characteristics only. Prompt input is normalised and screened before it reaches a provider, which catches attempts to name artists, songs, albums, labels and playlists as well as requests for voice cloning or explicit content. Rejected prompts are returned with an explanation and a suggested descriptive rewrite rather than silently altered.
We do not host a catalogue of third-party recordings, we do not accept uploads of other people’s music, and we do not fine-tune models on protected works.
No training on third-party catalogues
SonicSenses does not train, fine-tune or condition any model on copyrighted recordings, compositions or performances. The site uses third-party generation providers under their own terms and adds no artist-specific conditioning of any kind.

If you believe something on this site infringes your rights, or that a preset reads too closely to a protected work, tell us and we will review it promptly. Please include the page URL, the specific text or asset in question, a description of the right you hold, and how you would like it resolved.

We aim to acknowledge within two business days. Content under genuine dispute is taken down or rewritten while we review.
Using our material
- Quoting a sentence or two with attribution and a link back: permitted.
- Using a preset as the starting point for your own prompt: encouraged.
- Teaching from these pages in a class or workshop with attribution: permitted.
- Republishing whole pages or the preset set, or presenting them as your own: not permitted.
- Automated scraping to rebuild the library elsewhere: not permitted.
SonicSenses.com explores the emotional, immersive and sensory power of sound. It is an educational music and audio platform. Pornography, sexually explicit content and adult-entertainment uses are not permitted.
