SonicSenses
Privacy

Local-first, by design.

SonicSenses generates sound in your browser. Preferences and saved sessions are stored locally on your device unless you intentionally export them.

SonicSenses.com is owned and operated by iDigits LLC, which is the controller responsible for any personal data processed through the site. Privacy questions can be sent to info@sonicsenses.com.

No account is required to listen, compose or use the visualizer. Soundscapes, tones and audio analysis run in your browser, and preferences, favorites, and prompts are stored on your device. Optional AI music and artwork generation, prompt sharing, and Sound Coin purchases send data to our server and require sign-in where noted.

Microphone

The microphone is optional and is never opened until you press a mic button and accept the on-screen notice.

  • Visualizer capture (microphone, tab, or file audio) is analysed in your browser only. It is not uploaded, recorded, or transcribed by us.
  • Optional voice prompts are different: a short recording is uploaded to our first-party /api/stt endpoint and passed to a third-party speech-to-text processor (Lovable AI Gateway, using OpenAI gpt-4o-mini-transcribe) so it can be converted to text. We do not store the audio after transcription. We cannot currently confirm how long that processor retains submitted audio or whether it is used for model training, so please avoid dictating sensitive personal or health information.

Mood and intent selections

We do not operate a health record and do not store mood or intent choices in our database. However, when you pick a mood or save a prompt in the Prompt Studio, the page emits mood-labelled analytics events (for example prompt_studio_mood_selected and prompt_studio_prompt_saved) into the browser dataLayer. If an analytics or tag-manager destination is active in your browser, those events may be transmitted to it. We therefore do not claim that no health-adjacent data ever leaves your device.

Third-party audio services

Browser tab and system audio capture depends on your browser, operating system, and the source site. Content protected by DRM may be silent or blocked, and we make no compatibility promise for any specific streaming service.
